Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and the control you have over it. Short version: the minimum, never sold.
This Privacy Policy explains how Qubit (“Qubit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit qubit.nyc (the “Site”) or contact us. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your personal information.
01
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Site and respond to you:
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Usage & device data. When you visit, our analytics provider automatically collects standard technical data such as your IP address (typically truncated), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring links, and approximate location.
- Cookies & similar technologies.See the Cookies & analytics section below.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not require you to create an account.
02
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and similar identifiers to measure things like page views and session activity. This data is aggregated and used for statistical purposes; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time:
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Learn more about how Google handles data in its Privacy Policy.
03
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our offerings.
- To measure and analyze traffic and usage trends.
- To protect the Site against spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
04
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed:
- Google Analytics — website analytics.
- Google reCAPTCHA— to protect the contact form from spam and abuse. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Email delivery — to transmit and store the messages you send us.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Qubit, our users, or the public.
05
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of our communication, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period.
06
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. U.S. residents (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended) may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- Request access to or deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do neither.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@qubit.nyc.
07
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do not sell personal information regardless of any signal.
08
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and profiles (such as our social media pages) that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
09
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10
Security & international visitors
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Qubit is based in the United States; if you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.
11

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Effective” date above. Questions or requests? Reach us at office@qubit.nyc or 917-723-0371.
